WHAT WE DO
We partner with people groups that display a desire to translate God’s Word into their mother tongue. We provide the local leaders with training, equipment, support and resource mobilization for each indigenous community to have full ownership along with the infrastructure needed to ensure their translation is completed.

HISTORY
Since 1997
Since 1997, Hidden Harvest International has been dedicated to spreading the gospel message of Jesus Christ in East Asia.
Since the beginning, the call of God on Hidden Harvest International has always been very simple and yet also very powerful.
The mandate is to “Reach the Unreached.”
Early Beginnings in Taiwan
Hidden Harvest International began by successfully pioneering and operating a Bible school in Taiwan, a nation of over 92% Buddhists.
From there, Hidden Harvest International went on to start a large network of Bible schools among the cell churches in a very aggressive location in East Asia. (Name of the location required to be withheld for the safety of all parties involved.)
Expanding the Network
Under the leadership of Hidden Harvest International, this network grew to over 1,000 schools who taught and trained over 13,000 pastors, which in turn ministered to over 2.5 million people.
A New Direction
During this time, the Lord began to specifically direct Hidden Harvest International toward the massive amounts of unengaged unreached people groups in East Asia. These unreached people groups do not have any gospel work, Church, or Bible in their own language and are in complete darkness from the lack of hope that only Jesus can bring to them.
The Foundation of Our Work
The entire foundation for reaching the unreached for “generation after generation” must start with having the Bible translated into the mother tongue of the unreached people group. No ministry to any unreached people group can even begin if they do not even have the name of Jesus in their entire vocabulary.
Our Ongoing Commitment
Hidden Harvest International is a ministry founded by missionary Stan Mathias and is fully focused on the millions of people in the most confrontational regions in East Asia that are still waiting for God’s Word in their own language. Through the committed team of Hidden Harvest International workers that willingly risk their own lives to come alongside people groups that are in extremely challenging and threatening situations, we are able to fully equip them to translate the truth of God’s Word into their own heart language so they can completely understand that Jesus Christ loves them, and that he gave his life for each and every one of them.
Partnering for the Kingdom
Together with the faithful partnership of donors and prayer support, Hidden Harvest International has taken a vast amount of ground for the Kingdom of God and remains fully devoted to seeing come to pass Matthew 24:14: “THIS GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM WILL BE PREACHED IN THE WHOLE WORLD AS A WITNESS TO ALL NATIONS, AND THEN THE END WILL COME.”
